The Mexican War

The Mexican War addresses the events in American history that led up to and caused conflict with Mexico. As U.S. settlers made their way into the Texas Territory, tensions between the U.S. and Mexico began to rise. In this program, students will study events that caused fighting to break out and also, consequences the war created.
