The Mississippi River

The Mississippi River takes you on a journey through the history of the Mississippi River Valley. In 1906, an American author named Clifton Johnson traveled the vast course of the river and his adventure is recreated in this historical program. With this program, students will explore the role that the river had in influencing our nation's history, culture, and economy.
